Part time CFO or Interim CFO - G. Robert McKenzie

Robert McKenzie is the co-founder of RANKIN McKENZIE LLC, North Carolina's largest and most trusted financial management firm. As an accomplished CFO with over 20 years of financial management leadership experience, Mr. McKenzie's financial, strategic and fund-raising skills have made significant contributions to the success of the high-growth IT, health care services, and biotechnology companies he serves in the Research Triangle Park area. As a financial leader, Mr. McKenzie has a broad and diverse business background. He has developed extensive experience in a variety of industries including pharmaceuticals, software, biotech, corporate services, leasing and banking. Additionally, Mr. McKenzie has successfully raised numerous rounds of venture capital for his early stage clients. For his growth stage clients, he has effectively structured a variety of debt, leasing and equity programs to fund their expansion.

As a Chief Financial Officer, Mr. McKenzie is responsible for the overall financial management of his clients. His primary areas of focus include fund-raising, strategic planning, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and investor/board relations. In addition to performing CFO duties, Mr. McKenzie serves as a key member of his clients' senior management team and a strong company leader. He is the trusted and dependable confidant that CEOs rely upon to get the job done. Currently, Mr. McKenzie serves as the CFO for a pharmaceutical services corporation and a software development company.

A native North Carolinian, Mr. McKenzie attended Wofford College where he earned a Bachelor's in Economics and Wake Forest University where he earned a Master's in Business Administration. He is also a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of CPAs.
